Meet Gayle King MA BEd SEP AThR

Hello, I’m Gayle King, a professionally trained, registered, and experienced Experiential and Creative Arts Therapist, as well as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I also bring extensive experience as an educator, having worked across all levels from primary to tertiary education. At The Curious Place, I’m committed to fostering a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic relationship with each person I work with. I believe that everyone has an innate capacity to move toward thriving when given the right support.

Being creative, playful in my own life is an important part of my own wellbeing and identity. I delight in creating art, using movement and improvisation, connecting to nature, and writing. I value my own learning and expansion of my capacity to work and play in various ways
